Openstack juno, swift. Problem creating container

I have openstack juno installed on Ubuntu 14. Have several openstack accounts/projects working. However, now when I create a new user & project, I am having trouble creating a container. It says that the container is created when I do it from Horizon, but the container never appears. When I use swift list from the command line it doesn't show anything. If I try a swift upload or a swift post command, the commands complete successfully, but nothing appears in Horizon or from a swift list command.

I am at a loss of what is going on. I really need to get this container created so I can continue using the new project.

    Help, please.

Another thing I forgot to mention. After I try to create the container in Horizon. Even though it does not appear and does not show up with the swift list command from the console. If I try to create the same container name in Horizon, it states that the container already exists!
